Native of Weld County

Graduate of University High School and the University of Northern Colorado

Served on active duty for three years as a commissioned officer in the U. S. Air Force

Married with three daughters and six grandchildren

Began broadcasting career in 1965 with the former KYOU Radio in Greeley serving as news and sports director

Joined KFKA radio in1979 and served as news director until 2003

Presently employed by New Frontier Bank as Assistant Vice President/Customer Contact Manager

In previous radio associations has aired “Country Roots” featuring old time country, western, western swing, cowboy, hillbilly, rockabilly and bluegrass musical styles. Continues to do the same for The Pirate with the program airing from 6:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m. on Saturdays.
